French Style Floral Toile Curtain XL

Very large and thick professionally made curtain with soft, thermal interlining. It is 62 inches wide by 103 inches long so is likely to have been made for a tall door, perhaps a country house. It would also be beautiful used on a large, tall window, pulled back to one side. It could easily be tacked up to a shorter length if required.

The fabric is medium weight and is 100% cotton or a cotton / linen blend as it does have an slight appearance of linen in texture.  The background colour is light natural linen.  The elegant pattern is 19th Century French in style and depicts romantic florals entwined with undulating swirls and flourishes which are synonymous with French Baroque architecture.

The overall condition is excellent with the exception of considerable fading down the left edge. Please see the photos. It has been washed and line dried.  This likely does not have a great amount of age but is very vintage in style and quality.
