Velvet Covered Jewelry Gift Box

1930's dark blue/purple velvet jewelry presentation box with small metal clasp. There is a small label inside stating "Genuine Crystal".
 
The box itself is a lightweight wood. The inside has a lightly padded tan velvet base. The lid is hinged, padded and silk lined.
 
These vintage presentation boxes are very much sought after to keep your special jewelry in. The velvet ones are particularly nice as, despite being time worn, they represent a more glamorous era.
