1930's Hand Painted Headboard

Rare and beautiful 1930's headboard for a single sized bed.

It measures 36.5 inches (just over 3 feet) and 38 inches high from the bottom of the wooden "legs" to the highest point of the headboard.

The "legs" are not the original but have been made in the same style and painted. They are screwed on to the headboard but can be removed for delivery. They can be dropped into metal brackets attached to a single bed frame.

This absolutely charming headboard is a soft , pale golden yellow colour, edged in aqua green/blue and decorated with a sumptuous bouquet of hand painted roses, Delphiniums, Morning Glories and Lily of the Valley.

It's curved top line is beautifully decorative and the entire item is unashamedly feminine.
