Carr's 1950's "Cross Stitch" Tin

Carr's Biscuit Tin from the 1950's with delightful motto on lid and poem around the sides. The design is done in a cross stitch style which makes it particularly eye catching.
 
It is a larger size measuring approximately 9.5 inches square so is practical as well as decorative. It is also a very strong and substantial tin, made to be re-used after the biscuits were eaten.
 
It has some loss of colour and design but not too bad for almost 70 years old!
