Cottage Garden Watercolour Painting

Original watercolour painting on thick paper dating to around 1950. On the reverse is written "Cottage at Countess Weir, Devon" Countess Weir is more commonly known as Countess Wear but Weir is the original spelling.
 
The painting depicts a quintessential English scene of large thatched cottage with the most beautiful of cottage gardens. There is a gate at the front, trees surrounding the house and an atmospheric sky.
 
It is 11.5 by 9. 5 inches (29 by 24 cms).
