Gilt Framed French Landscape

Oil painting of farm area outside of Paris, signed by the artist (R.Ballam) and dated 1990. On the back of the painting is hand written "Ludovic Piettes' Farm   NR Gissors , NW of Paris   A Pissaro Painting Area " and there is a printed label saying the same. 

The beautiful gilt frame was made in Belgium (label on the reverse) and is very decorative. A tiny piece of the gesso work is missing but only noticeable upon very close inspection. It is in excellent condition. The frame fits a painting 12 by 16 inches . The outer frame measurements are 17.5 by 21.5 inches.
