Jeanne Pierre Hat Box

Vintage hat box from Jeanne Pierre , probably dating between the 1950's- 1960's, with faded text on front says "Jeanne Pierre 22 Beauchamp Place SW3" and a phone number. 22 Beauchamp Place is now a restaurant but 50 years ago stylish ladies could be seen leaving the shop with this same box in tow and often more than one!

The box is 32 cm (12.5 inches) by 26.5 cm (10/5 in) and 24 cm (9.5 in) high. The top is a soft olive green colour. Though it shows some wear in the form of faded marks the box itself is very sturdy and strong.
