Painted Roses Vanity Mirror

Absolutely beautiful wooden oval late 1940's mirror on a very decorative base; the overall colour is a warm cream with the mirror and base both having hand painted soft gold coloured embellishments.
 
Of course what makes this "stand out from the crowd" are the delightful and delicate original hand painted flowers which adorn the mirror surround the base.  They are elegantly painted in sublime colours. The artist has signed their work on the base "B Spencer".
 
The mirror can be tilted. The glass is original and beveled, so an excellent quality. I have a mirror very much the same in my own personal collection which you will occasionally see in photos. I have had it for many years and it remains a treasured possession. It is always a delight to see!
