Spratts Doggie Biscuit Tin

Charming Spratts dog biscuit tin; it has a very pale (faded) blue background with a design of cream coloured dog silhouettes all around.

The front and back are the same design with the words "MY FAITHFUL FRIEND'S OWN BISCUIT BOX" in a cartouche shape. One side has an image of a Wire Haired Fox Terrier and the other has an English Spaniel. The Spratts logo is on the lid.

Spratts were the first commercial dog food company in the world!  This vintage tin dates to somewhere between the mid 1930's and 1950. It does show considerable wear but remains a useable and unique item for dog lovers!
