Stylised Floral Rug

Pretty vintage latch hook rug, probably 1940's, measuring 25 by 52 inches , beige background colour with a central stylised floral design and flowers at each end with dark navy blue detail and end borders. It is thick and pliable. Each end has been finished on the underside with a fabric border.

The rug has wear in the form of an occasional missing piece of wool or wool in need of a trim along the long edges and corners. There is a also a slight bit of colour run from a couple of the burgundy/pink flowers.

It has been washed and smells fresh.  If using on wooden floorboards I always suggest carpet tape so that it doesn't slip. Very comfy underfoot as well as being stylishly vintage!
