Superb French Monogrammed Sheet

Beautiful antique French sheet measuring  80 by 96 inches. It has a large and spectacular hand stiched monogram in red. The initials are "L S" and have been skillfully stitched with the decorative addition of small bundles of grapes, leaves and tendrils.
 
The fabric is a high linen content metis (blend of linen and cotton for robust washability). It is quite a heavy weight but not as heavy as if it were a equal blend of linen and cotton. Perfect for bedding or decorative use.
