1930's French Crepe Curtains Fabric

These are the most gorgeous and sumptuos billowing curtains made from 1930's French crepe lingerie fabric. They have modern curtain "tape" across the top but the hem is unfinished. As they currently are they measure 1.82 meters wide (6 feet or 72 inches) and 1.95 meters long (77 inches). The width of each curtain is made up from 2 pieces.
 
We were lucky enough to obtain a fairly large bolt of this very rare fabric some years ago and along with the bolt was this unfished project. The curtain tape at the top could easily be removed to provide you with some of the prettiest lingerie crepe you will ever have seen. The draping quality needs to be felt to be fully appreciated!
 
The print is the most delicate design of floral sprays and scattered smaller flowers in soft pink, blue/lilac and soft green. The background colour is warm white. As curtains, when they are finished, they would be perfect for a window that gets a lovely breeze so you can see them billow or anywhere a touch of ultra femininity is appreciated. As fabric the uses are endless, from lingerie and pajamas to special one-off creative projects.
