1930's Pastel Floral Dinner Set

Beautiful large set of dishes dating from the 1930's; the set is decorated with a stylised poppy design in soft pastel colours of pink and sky blue with deeper accents around the edges.

The set comprises a gravy boat, sauce bowl with lid and ladle (very rare to find the matching ladle), 2 tureens or serving dishes with lids, platter,8 plates approximately 8 inches, 8 plates measuring almost 9 inches across and 8 plates approximately 10 inches across.

 There is some crazing to the glaze on some of the pieces. There are also a few small chips and 2 larger chips, one on the edge of a tureen bowl (please see photo) and the other on the edge of a 7 inches plate.

Due to the fragile nature of a large set such as this, we prefer the buyer to collect however we are happy to pack the dishes into numerous separate boxes for delivery which will help to keep it safe on it's journey to you.
