19th C Decorative French Engraved Book

Beautiful antique (1860) French book titled L'Eleve De Fenelon. The cover is engraved and richly coloured in red and soft pink then beautifully gilded.  The front cover has a small illustration of a French house and mill on a pond with trees.  The spine is in excellent condition and pages are all attached. 

 The frontispiece has a steel engraving. Considering this lovely book is 160 years old it is in incredible condition with only a small bit of normal wear and some minor foxing on the frontispiece. The book is 7.4 by 4.5 inches. There is a faint inscription inside the front cover in very beautiful handwriting.
