1930's hand painted magazine rack holder full

Decorative Floral Magazine Holder

Very rare, decorative and still so useful, this beautiful 1930's magazine or newspaper holder does not fail to impress. Even in the corner of a room it will catch the eye of anyone who appreciates beauty and quality.

The overall colour is a warm antiqued creamy/golden-yellow and it is decorated with a hand painted floral spray on the front including roses, bluebells and other stylised flowers. The design is surrounded by a dash and bead border which creates a "frame" around the painting. The same dash and bead border is on the back. The edges are finished with subtle gold detail.

There are two sections to this holder so plenty of room... It measures 18 inches wide (46cms), 16 inches to the highest point (41 cms) and 8 1/4 inches deep (21 cms).

It shows wear in the form of paint "scrapes"and marks as show in the photos but it remains solid and elegant with definite time worn opulence.
