Edwardian Crownford Blush Rose Vases
Circa 1915 vases by Crownford with an elegant curving shape and an exquisite depiction of blush coloured roses surrounded by a delicate rosey hue.
The top and bottom of the vases are a muted blue/green/grey colour which gently fade towards the center.
The set is not an exact match though one would be hard pressed to tell. One of the vases measures 9 1/4 inches and the other is 9 inches high. The design is exactly the same.
Both vases have minor glaze crackling though one has more than the other. One of the vases has what could be mistaken for a hairline crack around the very top (seen from the inside) but this is under the glaze and is an old fault. It is not seen unless you are inspecting it closely.
The warm tones, pretty shape and beautiful roses of these quality vases make them a particularly gorgeous addition to a vintage home.
