Embroidered Garland Panel

Skillfully hand stitched embroidered swags decorate this charming European folk art panel. The colours are rich and unfaded. The flower garland is abundant with different types of florals in the Kolacsa style including Roses, Pansies, Forget-me-nots, Carnations and more.
 
The fabric is linen and it measures 17.5 by 45 inches. Two rows of herringbone stitching decorate the border. This lovely piece is in excellent condition with only several broken threads in the herringbone cross stitch around the border. 
 
It can be used as a curtain/pelmet or perhaps to add a special touch to the back of a sofa!
