Fine Cotton Whitework Camisole

Wonderfully pretty Edwardian camisole made from fine, soft, lightweight cotton. It has a drawstring waist which is threaded with a small silky ribbon instead the garment.
 
The chest area is decorated with openwork and whitework embroidery in a design of flowers, leaves and a bow. This design is completely hand stitched; even the stitches that bind the edges of the tiny open work leaves are sewn by hand.
 
The edges of the collar and sleeves are very decorative floral edges and again, all are hand stitched. The back also has a very pretty and simple embroidered whitework flower with open work leaves.
 
The chest measurement from underarm to underarm and doubled is 43.5 inches. The waist measurement is 39 inches max when untied. The length from the top of the shoulder to the hem is 20.5 inches.
 
This charming camisole can be used as part of a vintage wedding ensemble, for vintage display or even for use as a delicate summer top!
