Floral Slipcovered Skirted Chair

Beautiful 1930's accent chair, in a curved "fanback" style, This is a very solid, quality made chair which retains it's original 30's grey fabric. It has a vintage Sanderson fabric slipcover and matching feather cushion.

The cover is very decorative and so pretty. It has a cornflower blue background and is covered with white and pink Roses, muted lilac Clematis, Carnations and pink Foxgloves among the foliage. The seams around the edges are all piped. It has a pretty gently ruffled "skirt" around the bottom which adds the most lovely feminine touch.

The cover has an excellent quality hook and eye style grommeted strip down the back which can be undone to remove for washing (cold up to 30 only to avoid shrinking it and line dry). Both the cover and the cushion have been thoroughly washed. The cushion does not have an opening.

The height is 30 inches, the width across the widest part of the back is 25.5 inches, depth 30 inches and from the floor to the seat is 16 inches. The fanback style curves nicely towards the sides and the seat has great support without being too hard.
