French "Toulouse" Soupiér
Elegant French soupiér in the design "Toulouse". The beautiful and detailed transferware design is in mid to navy blue on an off white background.
The design may be Rowan leaves, berries and decorative berry cluster borders around the edges. It has pretty handles and has an attractive pedestal style base.
The stamp on the base reads "Terre de Fer" (This is the French term for "Iron Stone") , "Toulouse" and the maker or company initials "P.F".
It is approximately 8.5 inches high with the lid and 11 inches across including the handles. It is in lovely condition with only a small chip on the rim.
