Gladiola and Roses Bedspread

Beautiful double sized bark cloth 1940's bedspread. This really is a gorgeous fabric with the unusual and richly coloured design of red Gladioli and yellow Roses.

The deep frilled hem / valance is gloriously pretty and goes around both sides and the bottom edge.

Not only would this transform a bed but it could also be used as a cover for a sofa or chair, a pretty addition to a piece of summer garden furniture or it could even be made into a door curtain with the pretty frilled edge hanging down!

The main body measures 47 inches wide (a standard double bed is 48 inches wide so this is a tiny bit on the small side), the ruffle is an additional 11 inches on each side.
