Hanging Match Holder

Vintage American hanging match holder painted white and decorated with a beautiful classic red rose. It has a hole on the top for hanging which originally would have been next to the stove or fireplace.
 
It does have some chips in the paint around the top and some scratches which is to be expected as it was a practial household item but it remains very decorative and useful. The base has rust and paint loss but the rust has not gone through the metal as you can see from the photo of the interior.
 
It measures 15.5 cm high ( a little over 6 inches).
