Horse Rosettes & Tins

2 vintage horse / equestrian tins and collection of rosettes - Rectangular tin with wild horse and foal design on lid by A.S. Wilkin Ltd. measures 8 by 6.5 inches. It is filled with a collection of 14 rosettes for gymkhana's between the years of 1937-1955 approx.

Most of the rosettes are cotton with a few exceptions of satin ruffles. The colours are royal blue, golden yellow and red. There is one that is white. Most have wear, some considerable, but will benefit from a gentle ironing if you would like to use them for decoration and display.

An additional equestrian themed tin is included. It has no maker's details but does have the remains of a "cocoa" label. It has a hinged lid and is covered with sweet images of horses, carraiges and horseshoes. It is just under 4 inches high by 4.5 by 3 inches.
