Large Rustic Floral Linen Curtains

Large pair of large "country house" linen curtains dating to the 1947-1948 by Gayonnes. The design is called "Ashbourne". Gayonnes first exhibited at the British Industries Fair in 1947. These curtains have come from a prop hire company for films so who knows - you may see them in a period film!

They are a medium to heavy weight linen. Each curtain measures approximately 90 inches wide by 82 inches  long. The background colour is stone or a natural linen type colour. Please have a look at the close up photos to see the colours at their truest.

They have narrow cotton curtain tape across the top . One curtain is missing a 9 inch section of the curtain tape at the end. This will need to be replaced in order to hang correctly. Please see photo. Other than that the curtains are without issue. There are no holes, tears or stains and the fabric is strong.
