"Princess of Wales" Biscuit Stamp

Wonderful antique wooden (treen) biscuit/shortbread stamp with "Princess of Wales" and the Princess of Wales feathers carved by hand.

We are unsure if the "Princess of Wales" referred to is Princess Alexandra of Denmark (1863-1901) or Princess Mary of Teck (1901-1910)- either way this charming stamp has considerable age yet remains in usable condition should you like to create your own "very vintage" biscuits.

The overall condition is very good with the exception of an old split and chipped tip at one end which you can see in the photos. There is no weakness or woodworm. It is very solid. The stamp is 2.5 inches wide (appr 6.5 cm) and 1 1/3 inches high (appr 3 1/4 cms). The height including the handle is 3 3/4 inches or 9.5 cms.

This is a really unusual piece of kitchenalia to display or enjoy using!
