The Complete Works of Shakspere

The Complete works of Shakspere (no, we did not spell his name incorrectly, apparently the spelling varied!) with an introduction by Edward Dowden. We've struggled to get the date for this book though we know it is no later than 1920. We believe this one to be earlier. It contains many wonderful colour illustrations. The cover and spine are red with decorative gilt design. The top edge of the pages are gilt. The pages have rough cut edges. It is 16.5 by 24 cms.  The cover and edges have wear, particularly the corners.
