Victorian Cotton Night Gown

Beautiful Victorian cotton nightgown / nightdress with pretty Broderie Anglais needlework.

The gown has several buttons down the front (the top button is missing) and the buttons are covered by a feminine broderie anglais ruffle. The chest area, neckline and cuffs have lovely decorative details.

There is a very tiny tear in the decorative work at the side of the neck line and a very faded yellowish mark on the front which can only be seen on very close inspection.

It measures 24 inches maximum across the front, underarm to underarm and is 48 inches long.
